“I Want You Bad is all about wanting something or someone you can’t have. In my case, I was in a relationship that I knew needed to end. I just didn’t want to lose the memories or the sweet bond I had with this particular person.”

The song was produced by Claire Frazier and Dave Cappa (KYLE, G-Eazy, and T-Pain); mixed by Grammy-winning engineer, Justin Hergett (Billie Eilish, Ashe) and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer, Randy Merill, (of Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga.)
The personal journey through navigating the end of a relationship is delivered through a blend of pop, hip-hop, and EDM of varying tempos. A sweet honesty comes through lyrically and in Claire’s vocal tone, which is further supported by the range between fun uptempo moments and more emotional beat sweeps.
Claire has been singing since a child growing up in Mobile, Alabama, and started to get serious about writing music in high school.
She has been influenced by artists like needtobreathe, Florence and the Machine, Adele, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber.
At the urging of her parents and friends, Claire started to share her music on Instagram, which is what ultimately caught the attention of Dave Cappa.
We’d expect to hear more from the artist very soon.
