Musician duo Jacob and Fanny will be hitting L.A.’s Hotel Cafe for a performance on January 11. Tickets are on sale now for the show, which will take place at 10 PM on the venue’s second stage.
When Jacob and Fanny first started it out, it was less than a year after their first-ever show that L.A. Reid signed them to Epic Records. While at Epic they worked alongside heavyweights like John Hill, Dave Cobb, Diane Warren, Ali Tamposi, Amy Wadge and Greg Wells. After deciding to go independent, the duo teamed up with producer John Cunningham [XXXTentacion] to release their debut EP, which is where they are now.
As for their music style, the artists aim to strike a balance between high energy pop and stripped down vulnerability, creating a sound that’s reflective of an honest relationship. The sound has been described as electro-acoustic pop.
“Every song tells an aspect of our life together. There are extreme highs and extreme lows, but we never give up.”
